NOTICE OF RECALL ELECTION

                                    SUPERVISOR #2, TOWN OF CROSS PLAINS

                                                                JUNE 17, 2008

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to a Certificate of Sufficiency filed by the clerk of The Town of Cross Plains, dated May 9, 2008, it is ordered that on June 17, 2008, a Recall Election is to be held in the County of Dane, Town of Cross Plains at which the following officer is to be elected:

A Supervisor #2, to succeed Bob Bowman against whom a recall petition has been filed pursuant to Article XIII, Section 12 ,of the Wisconsin Constitution and section 9.10 of the Wisconsin Statutes, for the remainder of the term which expires on April 7, 2009.

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the earliest date for circulating nomination papers is May 12, 2008, and the deadline for filing nomination papers, a campaign registration statement and a declaration of candidacy for the Recall Election will be 5:00 p.m., on May 20, 2008, in the office of Town of Cross Plains Clerk.  Note that the incumbent is a candidate at the recall election without filing a registration statement, declaration of candidacy or nomination papers unless he or she resigns within 10 days of May 12, 2008.

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN THAT The Recall Primary, if necessary, will be held on June 17, 2008, and the Recall Election will be held on July, 22, 2008.
