LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF CROSS PLAINS MONTHLY MEETING
The Board of Supervisors of the Town Cross Plains will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, May 12, 2008, at 8:00 p.m. in the Community Center, 3734 County P. Agenda items known at this time are:
1. Discussion and action on policy for speaking at Board meetings.
2. Consideration of liquor licenses from those applicants whose applications are on file.
3. John Dollins of Rural Insurance for review of coverage
4. Petition #9859 by Shamrock Farms to rezone 19.1 acres in Section 30 from A1Ex to RH-2 to create four residential lots on property south of 4974 County J.
5. Petition #9866 by Janet Hoopes to rezone 10.9 acres in Section 29 from A1Ex to RH-2 to create two residential lots on property east of 4690 County J.
6. Petition #9864 by Charles Wallman to rezone 1.83 acres in Section 1 from A1Ex to RH-3 at 8803 Airport Road.
7. Open road bids.
8. Resolution/decision to direct the Town Board and Clerk to post and put on the web site agendas and amendments to agendas on the same day they are sent to the local newspapers or posted.
9. Resolution/decision to adopt a policy for hiring individual contractors, attorneys, accountants and other vendors which includes a job description and to compare candidates’ qualifications for the job. In extenuating circumstances no more than $1,000 should be spent prior to going before the Board.
10. Consideration and/or decision on a motion for a five-member Board.
11. Resolution/decision regarding withdrawal of prior referral of and denial of Hawthorn and Stone Development, Inc. application for an unsewered development district.
12. Update on Intergovernmental Committee
13. Report on Capital Area Regional Planning Commission.
14. Northwest Dane update.
15. Update on the roads.
16. Fire District Updates.
17. Update on American Transmission Company.
18. The Clerk reports to the Board on signatures on recall petition.
19. Approval of bills for payment.
20. Any other items that may properly come before the Board.
